|This painting is loosely based on photographs I took in January 2011 of a Bronze Age stone circle in north Wales.
It lies in the hills just behind the coastal town of Penmaenmawr, and although a few of the stones have fallen over most of them are still standing.
To get some idea of its age, when Jesus Christ was born this stone circle may have been 2000 years old.
